       MACS is a "grass roots" 501c3 non-profit organization, operating on a shoestring, depending on the "out of pocket" resources of its members. 

       We are applying for grants, but until we are successful in enlisting the help of the philanthropic community both in Maine and nationally, it is important for us to show that many contributors support our work.
