Maine's Business Needs


In 2001, the Maine Development Foundation conducted the most recent of several annual surveys of businesses in Maine. 

Questions 32-36 were: "Is it necessary for your company to provide basic education to entry-level employees for each of the following areas."  The survey respondents included 663 Maine businesses from across the state.
