Directions to Rowan Tree Farm B&B

From Route 1 in Waldoboro, 1 mile east of Moody's Diner, turn on the Union Road, Route 235.  Travel 6 miles, and when the the road turns sharply to the left you'll see Seven Tree Pond to your right.  Go 1 mile more and turn right on Fire Road 20 (our driveway).  Our yellow farmhouse will be just visible from the road.

From Route 17 in Union, turn south on the either the Common Road, Route 235, or Route 131 (turn immediately right by the Town Hall) and proceed to the Union Common.  At the Post Office, turn on Route 235 South, travel 2 miles, and turn left on Fire Road 20 (our driveway). Our yellow farmhouse will be just visible from the road.

June 22-25

National Charter Schools Conference, New Orleans.  The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools will host the 2008 National Charter Schools Conference from June 22-25 in New Orleans, LA. Register at www.nationalcharterconference.org  The conference is the largest gathering of charter school operators and proponents in the nation. Attendees will learn and share best practices, discuss national and state policy issues, have the opportunity to volunteer at local charter schools, and enjoy special events featuring New Orleans traditions, food and music! Usually we meet at the Mediation Center, 11 King Street, Augusta. From the State Capitol, take State Street South about a mile and turn right on King Street, just before Pat's Pizza.
