MACS Information

Making a Tax-deductible Donation

     MACS is a "grass roots" 501c3 not-for-profit organization, operating on a shoestring, depending on the "out of pocket" resources of its members.  We have applied for grants, but until legislation actually passes, we are not likely to get funding. Many sources will become available to us after Maine passes charter school legislation, and demonstrating that many small contributors have supported us will be important at that time.

      Therefore, especially at this time, while we await legislation, please consider helping MACS financially.  Any contribution will be welcome to further our important cause: giving educational options to children at risk in Maine because they are underserved by our present public education system.
